FG Painting & Decorating is a professional painting and coating company based in Sydney, with many years of industry experience. Known for our high-quality workmanship and reliable service, we have built a strong reputation among local builders and clients. Due to business growth, we are now seeking an Estimator to join our team. Location: South Wentworthville
Key Responsibilities
* Review and analyse construction drawings and related documents to prepare accurate labour and material cost estimates
* Prepare and maintain pricing documents, records and files using Microsoft Office and other relevant tools
* Communicate effectively with suppliers, builders and internal project teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and to the required quality
* Support project and office operations as needed, and collaborate with other departments to achieve project goals
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree or above from an Australian university; majors in Construction, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or related disciplines are preferred
* Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience, with a sound understanding of construction drawings, materials and basic construction processes
* Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Planswift, Bluebeam or similar take-off/estimating software is a strong advantage
* Fluent in both English and Mandarin (written and spoken)
* High attention to detail, strong sense of responsibility, good communication skills and a collaborative team mindset
