Lead Finance for a Growing Global Technology Company
MiEnterprise Pty Ltd is Australia's most trusted provider of cloud-based golf and club management software. Founded in 2000 and headquartered in Melbourne, the platform supports over 1000 golf clubs and facilities across the Asia-Pacific region, offering integrated online tee sheets, competition management, and digital scoring.
This is a hands‐on senior leadership role for someone who pairs deep technical accounting skill with commercial judgement — and who's energised by a fast‐moving tech environment. You'll own the numbers, build the systems, and sit at the table where strategy gets made.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all accounting and finance operations for the Australian business.
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and management reports.
Coordinate external audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Planning & Analysis
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long‐range financial planning.
Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital optimisation.
Provide financial analysis and recommendations to executive leadership.
Turn analysis into clear recommendations for the executive team, and build the KPIs that track performance against business objectives.
Compliance & Controls
Ensure compliance with Australian tax regulations, statutory reporting requirements, and corporate policies.
Maintain and strengthen internal controls and risk management processes.
Oversee relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
Business Partnership
Partner with executive leadership on strategic initiatives, growth planning, and operational improvements.
Support financial due diligence, acquisitions, and expansion initiatives as required.
Drive process improvements and automation within the finance function.
Systems & Process Optimization
Lead financial systems enhancements and ERP optimisation initiatives.
Support ongoing improvements within the NetSuite ERP environment.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reporting accuracy, and scalability.
Qualifications
MBA with concentration in Accounting, CPA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification.
Minimum 10 years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience.
At least 3 years in a Finance Director or equivalent senior finance role.
Experience within a software, SaaS, technology, or high‐growth business environment preferred.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, tax, and compliance.
Demonstrated experience leading and developing finance teams.
Experience with ERP systems is required.
NetSuite ERP experience is highly desirable and will be viewed favourably.
Exceptional analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
