P6 Planner | Major Mining Projects
Gravity Resources is seeking an experienced P6 Planner to join our team on-site at a major minerals mine, working on smaller capital projects. If you have strong Primavera P6 experience and a background in planning within the mining sector, we want to hear from you
About the Role
In this on-site role, you will play a key part in planning and scheduling for smaller capital projects. You will work closely with project teams to manage project timelines, identify risks, and ensure milestones are met. There is also potential flexibility with your roster to allow for some swings to work from home.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, update, and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6.
* Manage Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) in alignment with project objectives.
* Identify critical path activities, track performance, and provide reporting.
* Analyse schedules to identify risks, constraints, and opportunities for improvement.
* Collaborate with subcontractors to optimise and validate their schedules.
* Ensure schedule integration across multi-disciplinary project teams.
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience in Primavera P6 scheduling, ideally within the mining sector.
* Experience in cost control and estimation will be highly regarded.
* Strong problem-solving skills and proactive risk management.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
* Ability to work on-site and contribute to a team-focused environment.
