Higgins Coatings is a proud family-owned national business with 75+ years legacy of leading the commercial painting industry. We're seeking a trade qualified Painter with experience managing multiple, concurrent sites. This is a salaried position, reporting to our Branch Manager, where approximately 80% of your time will involve site visits and project coordination, with the remaining 20% spent in the office.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead multiple, concurrent commercial repaint projects, ensuring safety, quality and timeliness
* Work with our sales team to assess projects/have input into how we can win projects
* Plan and manage employees, subcontractors and materials
* Monitor project progress, WIP and control costs to meet budgets and deadlines
* Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
What You'll Bring to the role
* Significant supervisory experience, ideally in commercial projects
* Experience managing small teams of employees and subcontractors
* Strong understanding of project assessments, budgets and cost estimating
* Proficiency in electronic documentation and reporting
