About the role:

Norco is seeking to appoint a territory manager in one of our key regions. You will deliver exceptional service to our existing customer base and drive growth in our dairy business, which features a well-established and award-winning dairy milk range with new products regularly added.

Reporting to the National Field Sales Manager and working within a professional sales team, you should be a self-starter with experience in independent retail and distributor channels.

This role involves achieving sales targets through authentic business relationships with stores in your designated territory, servicing accounts in Northern NSW and the Gold Coast. You will work on quarterly business plans, utilizing your territory and product insights. Strong relationship development, listening, verbal communication, and negotiation skills are essential for successful outcomes for both customers and Norco.

Responsibilities:

1. Present, promote, and sell products/services to existing and prospective customers.
2. Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis to meet customer needs.
3. Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
4. Engage with potential customers through cold calling.
5. Achieve sales targets within set timeframes.
6. Provide management with reports on customer needs, competitive activities, and potential new products/services.
7. Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments.
8. Continuously improve through feedback.

Selection Criteria:

1. Proven experience as a sales representative within the FMCG route channel.
2. Sound computer skills and experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
3. Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
4. Strong prioritization, time management, and organizational skills.
5. Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven sales track record.
6. Ability to create and deliver tailored presentations.
7. Knowledge of coffee beans or barista skills would be advantageous.
8. Interest in consumer trends and understanding of local customer demographics.
