Manufacturing Manager at Duet Electronics | Leading Lean Manufacturing Operations
About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled SMT Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in operating Surface Mount Technology (SMT) machines, with hands-on experience and a strong technical understanding of the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Set up and operate SMT machines (pick and place, reflow ovens, etc.) for PCB assembly.
2. Troubleshoot machine issues and perform regular maintenance.
3. Ensure quality control and inspection of assembled boards.
4. Work closely with the production team to meet deadlines and production targets.
5. Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements:
1. Proven hands-on experience operating SMT machines in a production environment (academic qualifications alone will not be considered).
2. Strong knowledge of SMT components, PCB layouts, and assembly processes.
3. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
4. Detail-oriented with a focus on high-quality work.
5. Legally able to work in Australia (no visa sponsorship available).
6. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot in a fast-paced environment.
