About the Role
We're seeking experienced
Senior .
NET Software Developers
to join high-performing agile teams supporting digital transformation across a major government department.
You'll work on enterprise-level applications and services that support a wide range of business areas, contributing to impactful public sector outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, MVC, Web API.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Build secure, scalable backend services and APIs.
Participate in agile ceremonies and code reviews.
Integrate with cloud platforms (Azure Government or AWS GovCloud).
Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and accessibility standards.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to team capability.
Essential Criteria
Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, MVC, Web API, React/NextJS.
Experience with SQL Server or Oracle and writing efficient queries.
Hands-on experience with cloud services (Azure or AWS GovCloud).
3-5+ years developing enterprise-level applications using .
NET Framework and .
NET Core.
Must meet Statement of Tax Record (STR) conditions for participation.
Desirable Criteria
Candidate location (please specify in application).
Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with DevOps and IaC tools (Terraform, ARM templates).
Experience with automated testing frameworks (NUnit, xUnit, Selenium).
