The Faculty of Health prioritizes being at the forefront of teaching, learning, creativity, social development, and groundbreaking research and discovery. We collaborate closely with industry partners and government bodies to translate discoveries into real-world impact. As a Lecturer in Medical Education, you will be working within the School of Medicine.
This position is suited to a person with an emerging record and passion for learning and teaching, and a keen interest in contributing to community engagement for teaching and employability.
You will teach within the Doctor of Medicine program, contribute to the review of units and courses, and implement refinements. You will also demonstrate emerging reputation in the scholarship of teaching and educational development through independent contribution to pedagogical research activity and publication in learning and teaching.
To be successful, you'll have:
* PhD in a relevant discipline and/or other relevant qualifications in a relevant health professional discipline.
* Demonstrated ability to contribute effectively to UG or PG teaching programs in medical education in a manner that influences, motivates, and inspires students to learn.
* Demonstrated passion for teaching and learning.
* Experience in contributing to the development of curricula and educational resources that reflect an understanding of the clinical medicine landscape and emerging practices in medical education.
