Job Description
We are seeking a credit analyst to deliver intelligent insight and risk management to our bankers. In this role you will support a portfolio of large SME customers, refine Judo's processes, and help us continue to improve customer experience.
Responsibilities
* Support bankers in maintaining ongoing care for a portfolio of large SME business customers.
* Perform credit analysis, including reviewing loan and credit applications, running credit reports, analysing loan extensions and renewals, identifying risks, completing borrowing‐base analyses, and preparing collateral analysis reports.
* Present and organise information and data concisely to enable quick decision‐making and enhance Judo's speed to market.
* Provide advice on loan structuring, including repayment schedules, interest rates, payment arrangements, and review documentation for loan closings.
* Offer input on continuous improvement of systems, business, and organisational methods to enhance customer value.
* Assess customers' needs, character, capacity, capital, and collateral to determine the risk level of their credit applications.
* Complete compliance and annual reviews, submit required reports, and ensure all documents and records comply with federal and state banking laws.
* Support business development and the origination of deals with new and existing customers.
Desired Skills and Experience
* Demonstrated experience in commercial banking, credit, or related fields.
* Tertiary qualification in Finance or Business.
* Experience working in financial services or a related industry.
* Understanding of business structures and strong financial acumen.
* High degree of digital literacy.
