Behaviour Practitioner
Our client are a multidisciplinary allied health team includes psychologists, occupational therapists, and behaviour practitioners who work collaboratively to make accessing high-quality, evidence-based NDIS services as seamless as possible for participants, families, and carers.
About the Role
This is an opportunity for a Behaviour Practitioner (Core level) to deliver Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) to children and adults with mental ill health and dual disability, including complex presentations. You will manage a caseload under supervision and work closely with psychologists, OTs, and other practitioners.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver person-centred PBS and behavioural interventions
* Conduct assessments and develop PBS plans under supervision
* Reduce and eliminate restrictive practices
* Provide therapy, capacity-building, and stakeholder education
* Contribute to NDIS reporting and reviews
About You
* Tertiary qualification in Psychology or Social Work
* Meets PBS Capability Framework (Core level)
* Strong assessment, reporting, and collaboration skills
* Commitment to ethical, evidence-based practice
* Driver's licence and relevant NDIS checks (or willingness to obtain)
