Support Worker
Support workers empower clients to live fulfilling lives, providing personal care, domestic duties, and social participation.
* Personal care: showering, grooming, toileting, and incontinence management
* Medication administration and management
* Eating/drinking and domestic tasks: cooking, meal preparation, cleaning, and light/heavy cleaning
* Instrumental tasks: transfers, positioning, and wheelchair use
* Community access: shopping, managing appointments, and finances
* Emotional/behavioral support: managing fluctuating emotions and outbursts

Requirements
* Prior experience working with vulnerable individuals or populations is desirable but not essential. What's more important is your ability to deliver high-quality care and support that meets the needs of our clients.
* You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, which will enable you to work effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
* A strong understanding of relevant policies, procedures, and legislation is also necessary for this role.
