Resource Coordinator - NICU

We are looking for a motivated and experienced person to join the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit as a Resource Coordinator.
You will be working within the NICU as part of a multi professional team.

Main duties of the job
To coordinate the procurement process, equipment and storeroom management, including responsibility for ordering stock.
To be responsible for the coordination of patient facilities to ensure a safe, clean and comfortable environment.
To be responsible for coordinating maintenance of the NICU environment and equipment.
To be responsible for the NICU Assistants.
Oversee the NICU Assistant role and coordinate their daily workin
To be responsible for own workload.

Due to Home Office immigration rules, a full time permanent vacancy cannot be filled by individuals on a Student visa.
Therefore, please be advised that if you are a Student visa holder, we will not be able to offer you a full time permanent contract unless you have:
applied for a Graduate visa
or you will have successfully completed your course and have applied for a Graduate visa before the anticipated start date of your employment
or the Trust has agreed that they will Sponsor you as a Skilled Worker and you will complete your studies within 3 months of the anticipated start date of employment

Person Specification
Qualifications
Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
NVQ level 2 Customer Service / Business Admin / ITQ or equivalent experience
Use of computerised systems for ordering
Experience
Experience of working in a busy office environment or reception role
Experience of prioritising, planning and organising own tasks
Working with guidelines
Experience of customer service or dealing with the public
Experience of IT packages - Microsoft Office
Experience of working in the NHS
Experience of call handling
Experience of dealing with difficult situations and confrontations
Knowledge
Understanding of confidentiality and data protection
Understanding of customer service
Knowledge of Trust information systems
Knowledge of Medical Terminology
