Amcal Pharmacy Newstead is looking for a casual or part time pharmacist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications to our valued customers. The role is suitable for any level of registered pharmacist e.g. newly registered through to experienced pharmacists. We are looking for someone to work anywhere from 1-3 days a week. There will always be at least one other experienced pharmacist on duty as well as our interns to support the successful candidate.
Key responsibilities:
* Dispense prescriptions using Fred software
* Provide OTC medications and relevant counselling
* Ensure compliance with all legal, ethical, regulatory and safety standards
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient care
* Check Medico packs
We are looking for someone to start in February for a 6 month contract.
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $45.00 – $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
