What you'll be doing
As a Visiting Medical Officer – General Practice Emergency Medicine, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred emergency medical care at Tumut Hospital. You will support the local community and fellow GP VMOs through sessional Emergency Department shifts, with responsibilities that may include inpatient management, clinical leadership on shift, supervision and education of junior clinicians, and coordination of patient retrievals and referrals where required. There may also be opportunities to provide services at other MLHD facilities, subject to credentialing.
In accepting this position, you will uphold core NSW public sector values, including cultural diversity, equity, ethical practice, and contributing to a healthy, safe, and fair workplace.
