Administration Officer (Oral Health Services), Queensland Health
Townsville Oral Health Services are seeking an experienced and friendly Administration Officer to join their supportive team.
This is 2 temporary full-time roles available (1 x up to 12 months AND 1 x up to 05/08/2026 with a possibility of an extension of 12 months).
About the opportunity
The position provides a high level of customer service, demonstrating understanding, empathy, patience and a positive attitude towards patients and colleagues. It delivers an efficient appointment booking service for all patients, optimises booking time for clinicians, supports patient access to Oral Health Services in accordance with the Waiting List Guideline and Eligibility Guideline, and assists in achieving Service Agreement Key Performance Indicators.

Requirements
Whilst not mandatory, previous experience in a busy Administration role is highly desirable.
This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.
