Leadership Opportunity in Merchandise Management
We are seeking an experienced leader to head our Merchandise Management team, responsible for the strategic direction and execution of merchandise operations across our business.
* The ideal candidate will possess strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with a deep understanding of category management and financial planning.
* Proven success in managing large-scale merchandise operations in a multi-location or omnichannel retail environment is essential.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive merchandise strategies that align with our overall business goals and customer value propositions. This includes collaborating with executive leadership on long-term planning and annual budgeting processes, as well as leading and mentoring a high-performing merchandising team.
You will also partner cross-functionally with marketing, operations, digital, and finance to ensure alignment between merchandise strategy and customer experience. Additionally, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong vendor relationships, leveraging points of competitive advantage to maximize margin and delivery performance.
Requirements include:
* 8+ years of progressive experience in merchandising or product management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
* Experience in Trade/Commercial merchandise organizations is highly desirable.
