Procurement Specialist Role
This Procurement Specialist will oversee the contract management process, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions, identifying potential risks, and preparing reports to enhance project profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement an advanced procurement strategy and present innovative ideas to stakeholders.
* Maintain positive working relationships with suppliers/subcontractors on new projects and expansions.
* Prepare and issue tender packages of work to secure competitive pricing from reliable suppliers.
* Project initiation, ITT Process/evaluation
* Compare and reconcile tender submissions.
* Negotiate rates/pricing schedules with suppliers.
* Develop business cases, recommendations, and justification to obtain approvals.
* Record and maintain Contract Register for all contracts.
* Establish new supplier relationships and negotiate terms and conditions.
* Execute completed agreements and prepare detailed handover packs for projects.
* Handover/Kick off/Progress meetings and project initiation/start up activities.
* Support internal stakeholders with contract procedures.
* Create contract administration plans to ensure effective contract management.
* General administration of contracts and maintain a professional standard of work.
* Conduct regular supplier performance reviews.
A minimum active AGSVA baseline or NV1 clearance is required for this role. Candidates without this clearance will not be considered.
