Your new role:
As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for delivering professional security services across a complex healthcare environment. This role is critical to ensuring the safety of staff, patients, visitors and assets through proactive patrols. Key Responsibilities
Operate within the Security Control Room, monitoring CCTV and communications systems
Respond to security incidents, emergencies, alarms and duress activations
Support fire and fire alarm response, emergency lockdowns and disaster response procedures
The Process
This Expression of Interest collects a variety of information that will help identify potentially suitable applicants for future casual employment opportunities. If deemed suitable your details will remain in the Talent Pool for a period of 12 months and should there be an employment opportunity you will be contacted to discuss the opportunity further. Additional selection processes (interview, reference checks and pre-employment checks) to further assess suitability for appointment to a specific position may be required.

A pool will generally continue for a 12-month period.
If you are placed in the talent pool, you may be offered a position within the relevant time period, however your appointment to a position is not guaranteed.

You are a calm, capable and professional security officer who thrives in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment. You bring strong judgement, emotional intelligence and physical capability, with a genuine commitment to safety, teamwork and service excellence.
Strong capability in incident response, de-escalation, negotiation and physical restraint
Sound knowledge of, or ability to learn, relevant legislation and policy frameworks
Experience working with CCTV, control room systems and access control platforms
