Job Summary
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, providing exceptional guest service through the sale of tickets and Bingo reservations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and departmental policies and procedures.
* Assist guests with the purchase of admission passes.
* Obtain required approval and acceptance of various forms of payment (credit card, casino chips, debit cards, etc.)
* Reconcile cash and ticket media according to prescribed cash handling guidelines.
* Assist guests with lost tickets and passes. Reissue and/or refund according to established policies.
* Perform daily inspections for safety, quality and cleanliness at opening and closing, reporting deficiencies.
* Provide guests with general information to ensure a pleasant visit at the resort.
* Promote positive guest and employee relations at all times.
* Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
Requirements
A high school diploma or GED, along with one to two years of previous cashiering and/or ticketing experience, are preferred.
Work Environment:
* Frequently stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell.
* Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
* Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
* Exposed to casino-related environmental factors including second-hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public.
* Must communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
