Job Title:
Airworthiness Expert
The role involves maintaining airworthiness standards to ensure aviation safety.
The incumbent will be responsible for implementing corrective actions, managing performance and providing leadership.
Coulson Aviation Australia is a subsidiary of a global aerial firefighting company operating globally with a fleet of large aerial firefighting assets. We support Australian States and Emergency Service Organisations with aircraft and experienced team members.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain the CAMO Part 42 Exposition in compliance with CASR Part 42 regulations.
* Monitor outputs from the CAMO to ensure continued compliance.
* Implement corrective actions to address irregularities.
* Manage the performance of the CAMO to ensure compliance with relevant CASA regulations.
* Provide leadership and direction to employees including recruitment, training, coaching, performance management and career development.
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in Continuing Airworthiness Management of aircraft.
* Aircraft Maintenance Management Organisation functional and practical knowledge.
* Comprehensive knowledge of CASR Part 42 regulations.
* Strong CASA Regulatory knowledge.
* CAMO experience including knowledge of the CAMO's exposition and quality system.
* Proven ability to develop and execute on projects.
* Ability to manage complex information and resolve issues effectively.
* Hold one of the following: CASA aircraft engineer licence or equivalent, Certificate IV level in aircraft maintenance, Aviation Maintenance Management Diploma, Engineering Diploma in Aeronautical, Avionics, Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics.
