**The Company** 
This state government department plays a crucial role in the growth of NSW and is currently involved in various projects across NSW. Due to an increase in work volume this respected Government organization have an immediate need for a Procurement Specialist with ICT experience to join their procurement division.
**The Job** 
Reporting into the Senior Manager in this procurement focused role, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Lead procurement projects, including market research, stakeholder consultation, and documentation completion. 
- Conduct sourcing activities to implement effective solutions. 
- Manage contracts associated with procurement projects. 
- Analyse business needs, market risks, and supply trends for informed sourcing. 
- Guide internal teams, improving procurement expertise across the organisation. 
- Document procurement process, choices, and contracts for transparency.

**You**
To be successful in this role, you must have experience in the following areas:
- Qualifications in a related field and 5-7 years of relevant experience required. 
- Experience in Insurance and Waste management preferred. 
- ICT experience will be advantageous. 
- Government procurement experience will be favoured. 
- Exceptional time management and communication skills 
- Strong ability to work independently
