Offer Description Continuing Full-Time Higher Education Officer Level 6 $92,287 - $98,398 pa 17% Super Flinders University is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Research Contracts Officer to join our Research Development and Support (RDS) team.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting our researchers by providing expert advice and end to end management of research contracts.
In this role, you will review, prepare, and negotiate a diverse range of research related agreements, including collaboration and services contracts, confidentiality agreements, IP sharing arrangements, memoranda of understanding, material transfer agreements, and subcontracts with industry, government, and other research institutions.
Your work will help ensure that Flinders' research collaborations are built on strong, compliant, and mutually beneficial foundations.
You will be part of a supportive, solutions focused team dedicated to enabling high quality research outcomes that make a real difference.
About You You are a skilled contracts professional who enjoys working in a fast paced research environment where accuracy, collaboration, and customer service matter.
With experience in research contract administration or a similar field, you bring both technical expertise and a practical understanding of how to achieve strong outcomes for all parties involved.
You have a sharp eye for detail, excellent negotiation and communication skills, and the confidence to engage with a range of stakeholders.
Qualifications Strong knowledge of research contract management and compliance.
Proven ability to review and negotiate terms and conditions across a variety of agreements.
Sound judgment, initiative, and a collaborative approach to problem solving.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and research management systems.
Relevant tertiary qualifications (a law degree is highly regarded but not essential).
