THE ROLE
An opportunity exists for an Associate or Senior Associate (3–7 PQE) to join a busy corporate team in Melbourne. You'll work on high-profile transactions, including acquisitions, disposals and capital raisings. Key responsibilities include drafting and negotiating transaction documents, managing due diligence, coordinating input from specialist teams, and conducting research on complex corporate issues.
You will receive strong mentoring and hands-on training from senior leaders in the corporate practice, with exposure to sophisticated and engaging commercial matters.
ABOUT YOU
You are a commercially minded and motivated corporate lawyer who:
Has 3–7 years' PQE in corporate law within private practice
Brings solid technical ability and relevant transactional experience
Delivers advice with a client-focused, solutions-driven mindset
Thrives under pressure and meets deadlines consistently
Communicates effectively with clients and stakeholders
Works collaboratively and maintains a positive, proactive approach
