An opportunity has become available for a Pharmacist Grade 1/2 to join our casual pool located across the Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District. The Pharmacy department provides a comprehensive pharmacy service to patients during their admission to hospital and for those attending outpatient clinics. The dedicated pharmacy team works collaboratively to provide medications in a safe and timely manner with a focus on patient‐centred care.
Your role will provide safe, efficient and effective distribution of pharmaceuticals to wards and departments and provide assistance in the preparation of manufactured sterile and non‐sterile products, and dispensing of prescriptions and associated clerical duties.

What You Will Bring to the Role
* Full pharmacist registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA) with no restriction to scope of practice.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and cooperatively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
* Demonstrated excellent communication skills written and verbal with the ability to communicate issues relating to medication safety.
* Demonstrated understanding of quality improvement processes.
* Demonstrated experience in clinical pharmacy preferably within tertiary Australian Hospital.
* Current driver's licence and willingness to use for work purposes.
