Do Work That Matters. CommBank’s Business Banking Operations (BBO) function is looking for a Customer Service Specialist (CSS) to join our Bank Guarantee Maintenance team. Business Banking Operations (BBO) is responsible for the fulfilment, settlement and servicing of commercial lending and business banking lending products for CBA. One of the commercial lending products is a Bank Guarantee, which is managed by the Bank Guarantee Establishment and Maintenance Teams who support customers nationally. The Role. As a Customer Service Specialist in our Bank Guarantee Maintenance team, you will process a variety of services relating to already established Bank Guaranties including but not limited to; processing reconciliations, security substitutions, changing limits and fee collections. You will partner and collaborate with a variety of internal teams from account management, legal, risk & compliance, commercial lending, Foreign Trade, Trade Finance and Bankruptcy and liquidations teams in order to resolve any blockers in maintaining our bank guarantees service. This collaboration with stakeholders will ensure we produce high quality work and meet our operational objectives and deadlines, whilst maintaining strong customer focus. On any given day you will: Providing superior levels of internal and external customer service by responding to and managing customer and stakeholder enquiries, complaints and issues Identifying opportunities to improve the processes within your team or work area Undertaking investigations in respect to customer requests and/or as a result of transactional or exception based issues Process and respond to queries from internal & external stakeholders Practising prudent risk management by identifying and responding to business risks We’re interested in hearing from people who have: High attention to detail, and you will be solutions focussed and pro-active in your way to resolve queries for our customers. You may have existing lending operations or transactional banking experience and will have established prioritisation skills in order to action significant pieces of work, often with competing deadlines.
