Cert 3 in Fitness preferred, but not essential.
The RolePortland Leisure and Aquatic Centre are on the search for amazing group fitness instructors to teach at our Centre, specifically for Pilates, Reformer Pilates, Body Pump, Body Attack, Boxing, RPM / Spin and Aqua Fitness classes.
You may also be required to complete a few shifts on the gym floor delivering high levels of customer service and support to our members who can deliver programs and personal training to members on an as needs basis.Skills & Attributes:A demonstrated commitment to customer service and well developed communication skillsCert III in Fitness, Fitness Leaders Course, Exercise to Music Module or Group Exercise Leader Les Mills (GEL).
Current fitness registration with Fitness Australia or Physical Activity AustraliaCurrent Senior First Aid Certificate Current CPR Certificate Relevant Program Certification (eg - Aqua Aerobics, Deep Water Running and Pilates)Working with Children's CheckAgree to undergo police check as part of the employment processDriven to success with friendly can do attitudeAvailability to work evenings and weekends is essentialPrevious industry experience is highly regarded
