The firm is seeking an experienced
Commercial Litigation Lawyer
to join its growing team.
The Opportunity
This position offers a diverse range of
commercial disputes
and
litigation work
, including
construction law, insolvency, and general commercial matters
. You'll gain hands-on experience, client exposure, and the opportunity to work alongside senior litigators in a collaborative environment.
What You'll Be Doing
* Managing and advising on commercial disputes and litigation strategy
* Working on construction, insolvency, and contractual dispute matters
* Representing clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings
* Drafting pleadings, affidavits, and correspondence
* Collaborating with senior lawyers and contributing to team outcomes
What We're Looking For
* 2–6 years' PQE+ experience in litigation or commercial disputes
* Strong legal drafting, research, and advocacy skills
* Commercially minded approach with excellent client communication
* Ability to manage matters autonomously while working collaboratively
* Enthusiasm for resolving complex legal issues with practical solutions
Highly Regarded:
* Experience in construction, insolvency, or debt recovery matters
* Familiarity with Queensland court procedures and dispute resolution processes
* Exposure to SME and private client matters
