The Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Associate Engineer – Drainage & Flooding with a proven track record in delivering major transport infrastructure projects across NSW and nationally. This is a permanent opportunity based in our Sydney office.

With a strong pipeline of major infrastructure projects, we are looking for a Civil/Hydrology/Drainage professional with demonstrated experience in drainage design and flood modelling to join a highly capable multidisciplinary team.

With 10+ years' commercial experience, this is an opportunity for you to provide expert drainage and flooding advice, lead technical delivery, and demonstrate advanced capability across analysis and design, ensuring outcomes meet the highest technical standards and client expectations.

With a track record of achievement in a similar role, you will have gained your experience within an engineering design consultancy and bring a passion for building trusted relationships, driving innovation, and contributing to winning new work.

Suitable applicants will have:

* Degree qualified – Bachelor of Engineering (Civil Engineering or similar), ideally with CPEng / RPEQ (or working towards)
* 10+ years' experience delivering drainage, flood mitigation and water engineering solutions across infrastructure projects
* Demonstrated experience leading the delivery of client requirements within budget and time constraints
* Strong experience in the coordination, design and delivery of projects within a multidisciplinary engineering environment
* Familiarity with relevant Australian standards and guidelines
* Advanced capability in preparing and reviewing technical reports to a high standard with minimal revision
* Proficiency in relevant software
* A proactive, client‐focused mindset with the ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
