Human Resources Administration Assistant – Australia Zoo
An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone to join our Australia Zoo team in a Full Time capacity as a Human Resources Administration Assistant.

Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, this role will provide general Human Resources admin support to the entire Human Resources team to ensure the department operates effectively and efficiently.
You will have a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent time management and organisational skills. The ability to work to a high standard whilst maintaining confidentiality at all times is essential. Being a team player and possessing a great work ethic with the ability to build rapport with all team members is essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Create and publish the weekly staff newsletter – Zoo News.
* Coordinate the staff and contractor ID card database, ensuring new ID cards are issued accordingly.
* Assist the HR Training team in conducting new staff 'inductions' and assist with on-the-day coordination of team members (Eg; coordinating uniform pickup, and meet & greets).
* Maintain staff uniform stock, ensuring that frequent stocktakes are completed, storage areas are kept organised and place orders for new stock when required.
* Complete relevant administrative tasks relevant to employee paperwork, staff files and other ad-hoc documents, to ensure systems are up to date each week.
* Assist the HR Team with arranging meetings, scheduling and meeting note taking. This includes ad-hoc meetings and scheduled meetings.
* Compile relevant information and create reports when requested by the HR Team.
* Maintain databases and relevant HRIS Systems (HR Flare), ensuring all relevant staff and personnel information is up to date.
* Remain up-to-date with emails, phones and data input into relevant systems.
* Assist with coordinating staff incentives, including end of year celebrations, staff awards, staff letters, vouchers and other relevant incentives.
* Undertake other duties as requested by Chief Human Resources Officer, HR Team & Senior Management
