The Opportunity
We are seeking Registered Nurses to join our Special Care Nursery team at Westmead Private Hospital. In this role you will be delivering a higher standard of support and care for mothers, newborns, and their families. You will be responsible for will assessing, planning, coordinating, and evaluating the care delivery needs of each patient.
Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Clinical Nurse, Team and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.
Skills and Experience
* Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse or Midwife
* Recent experience working within Neonatal services
* Knowledge of current legislation and policies relating to Neonatal nursing practice in the workplace
* Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
Preferred skills
* CPAP and High-flow
* Breastfeeding support competent
Remuneration
On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $36.65 - $51.47 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW RN/Midwife gr1-gr8) (FTE $72,420.40- $101,704.72)
