The ideal candidate will be able to commit to this role on a long term basis following extensive training for the role. As an Orderly your responsibilities will include: · Patient Assistance and transfers including the use of lifting machine and bed movers. · General housekeeping duties e.g. cleaning beds, organising linen, restocking of equipment, and waste management · Emergency Response Team Member · Working to assist Clinical Staff with Patient needs · Remove dirty linen / ensure clean linen is readily available · Operate in line with WHS policy & procedures · Deliver excellent customer service to staff, clients and patients · Cultivating a hospitable and friendly environment for all patients · Work as an active team member to support all work tasks Essential Criteria: · Authority to Work in Australia · Experience as an orderly or in a hospital environment (desirable) · Vaccination and serology records prior to commencement · Working with Children check · Commitment to service excellence · Ability to prioritise and organise work, with minimal supervision · Ability to work in a fast-paced environment · High level attention to detail Why Healthscope?
