Job Overview:
The role of Principal Compliance and Regulation Officer is a critical position within our organization.
* Develop and implement environmental compliance programs
* Provide guidance and support on native vegetation management through briefings and documentation
* Exercise authority as an Authorised Officer under the Planning Act 1999 regarding native vegetation management
* Conduct site inspections to assess compliance with regulations
* Proven experience in administering legislation and providing expert advice on environmental matters
* Experience in conducting regulatory investigations and high-level project management skills
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective networks
* Degree in natural resource management, environmental science, or related field
* Certificate IV in Government Investigations or similar qualification
