Overview
McMahon Services is seeking an experienced Operations Manager - Electrical to support the delivery of electrical works across our projects in South Australia.
This is a site-based leadership role that plays a key part in coordinating labour, maintaining safety and quality standards, and supporting Project Managers to ensure works are delivered efficiently and to a consistently high standard.

What You'll Do
* Coordinate and manage labour allocation, including electricians, apprentices, subcontractors and labour hire
* Lead and manage internal electrical teams through clear, effective communication
* Manage timesheets, leave approvals and workforce administration
* Ensure electrical vehicles, plant and tools are serviced, maintained and presented to a high standard
* Manage yard and shed storage, ensuring work areas are organised, maintained and safe
* Oversee WHS compliance on and off site, including safety documentation and KPI performance
* Prepare, review and implement SWMS and safe work documentation
* Conduct toolbox meetings and promote a strong safety culture
* Communicate RFIs, site issues and potential variations to Project Managers
* Ensure high-quality workmanship and accurate completion of day work sheets
* Contribute to problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives
What You'll Bring
* Minimum 4 years' experience as a qualified A Class Electrician
* Strong knowledge of AS3000 and electrical standards
* Experience managing construction scheduling with strong attention to detail
* Ability to read, interpret and clearly communicate plans and drawings
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Proficiency in Outlook, Word and Excel
* Proactive approach with a strong eye for detail
* Team-focused mindset with the ability to lead by example

* Ability to manage multiple work fronts and competing priorities

Mandatory Requirements
* A Class Electrical Licence
* Construction White Card
* Ability to pass Drug & Alcohol and Fit for Work assessments
* Ability to obtain DCSI and Defence clearances
