Your new role
As a Senior Corporate Accountant within the Corporate Advisory division, you will play a key role in the delivery of a broad range of technically challenging and commercially focused engagements. Working closely with Managers, Directors and Partners, you will take ownership of your work while also supporting and developing junior team members.Your responsibilities will include:
Preparation and completion of a wide range of corporate advisory and accounting engagementsManagement and financial reporting for corporate and SME clientsFinancial due diligence, business and share valuationsMergers and acquisitions support, including IPO and capital market engagementsIncome tax and GST complianceMaintenance and review of accounting records and reconciliationsManaging budgets, turnaround times and quality standards on assigned engagementsReviewing work completed by graduates and undergraduates and providing constructive feedbackActing as a trusted point of contact for clients on assigned engagements

What You'll Need To Succeed
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
CA or CPA qualificationMinimum 3-4 years' experience in a professional accounting or advisory environmentStrong technical skills across accounting, financial reporting and tax complianceExposure to, or interest in, corporate advisory work such as due diligence, valuations and transactionsAdvanced Excel skills and experience with accounting software such as Xero or MYOBThe ability to manage multiple engagements autonomously while meeting deadlines and budgetsStrong communication skills and a client-focused mindsetA proactive, reliable and professional approach, with a desire to mentor and develop junior staff
