Marketing and Administration Officer role at Atturra. Based in Canberra; on-site at Belconnen office, 5 days per week, 4 hours per day with flexibility.
What You'll Be Doing
The Marketing and Administration Officer supports the Business Development Manager to grow SME Gateway membership and contract opportunities. Responsibilities include identifying, planning, booking, and preparing internal and external business promotions such as presentations and attendance at trade functions. Tasks may involve simple desktop publishing using Canva or similar tools and occasional participation at SME Gateway-hosted events during and after normal hours. May provide administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer on an ad hoc basis.
Work includes structured activities (clearing grouped email mailboxes, processing membership enquiries, scheduling meetings, issuing and tracking documentation, data entry and validation, and polite member follow-up) and unstructured activities (ad hoc market research, configuring and coordinating email campaigns, and contributing to tender content prepared by the Business Development Manager). Some CRM data entry is required.
Being part of a small team requires a can-do attitude, sound judgement, self-motivation, professional customer-service skills, and strong business communication.
Mandatory on-site requirement: Canberra-based, Belconnen office, 5 days per week. Australian citizenship is required, with AGSVA Baseline Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
Responsibilities
* Work in a small team
* Seek and work to advice from the Business Development Manager
* Accurately follow written procedures
* Work confidently with the Microsoft Office suite
* Be capable of using a CRM tool (e.g., Salesforce or Prokuria) with training
* Clear mailboxes according to a daily schedule
* Liaise with Members to answer queries about memberships
* Analyse and escalate potential risks
* Maintain company systems including physical and digital records
* Create and lodge various reports
* Participate in regular operational and staff meetings
* Support a collaborative office environment
* Complete directed online training activities
* Undertake other duties as directed

About You / Qualifications
* Minimum of two years of equivalent administrative experience
* Exceptional time management, attention to detail, and prioritising skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* An eye for detail over speed
* Pleasant phone manner and ability to work with Members and Clients
* Aptitude for Business Development
* Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised
* Australian citizenship
* AGSVA Baseline clearance or willingness/ability to obtain one
