OUTLET MANAGER – Marina Tavern
Overlooking Hamilton Island's bustling marina, the Marina Tavern is a lively, much-loved venue offering relaxed dining, classic tavern fare, cold drinks, and an energetic bar atmosphere. With additional management responsibility across Rainforest Bar and The Palms, this role sits at the heart of Hamilton Island's social scene.
We're seeking an experienced and driven Outlet Manager to lead the daily operations of Marina Tavern and its associated venues. Working in partnership with the Food & Beverage Executive Manager, you'll take ownership of the guest experience, team performance, and financial outcomes while maintaining exceptional service standards in a fast-paced environment.

Your Role
As Outlet Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of Marina Tavern, Rainforest Bar, and The Palms, ensuring seamless service delivery, strong financial performance, and a motivated, high-performing team. Your leadership will set the standard across service, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Where you'll make an impact
* Oversee daily operations across Marina Tavern, Rainforest Bar, and The Palms
* Lead, train, and motivate a front-of-house team to deliver consistent service excellence
* Drive high standards of guest service in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
* Manage rosters, staffing levels, stock control, and cost management in line with budgets
* Coordinate recruitment and onboarding in partnership with the recruitment team
* Ensure compliance with RSA, RSG, and all venue licensing requirements
* Take responsibility for financial reconciliation, floats, and transaction accuracy
* Prepare and review rosters to align with service demand and wage efficiency
* Support team development through coaching, feedback, and performance reviews
* Participate in leadership meetings and contribute to broader Food & Beverage initiatives
What we're looking for
You are a hands‐on hospitality leader with strong operational and financial skills and a passion for creating positive guest and team experiences. You're confident managing busy venues and enjoy leading from the front.
To be successful, you will need:
* Proven leadership experience in a bar, tavern, or food and beverage outlet
* Strong financial acumen with experience managing costs and venue performance
* Excellent communication, leadership, and team-building skills
* High attention to detail and ability to perform in a fast-paced, guest-facing role
* Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office and POS systems
* Responsible Management of Licensed Venues (RMLV) – Essential
* Customer Liasion Officer Certificate (CLO) – Essential
* Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) – Essential
* Responsible Service of Gaming (RSG) – Essential
* Open and current Driver's Licence – Essential
