**Position Summary**
Provides janitorial services and general maintenance of warehouse and surrounding grounds. Restocks supplies; Operates garbage compactor and cardboard baler. Periodically paints and performs routine maintenance throughout the warehouse. Purchases supplies needed for projects. Follows proper safety and security procedures and standards. Provides prompt and courteous member service
**Job Duties/Essential Functions**
- Cleans warehouse floors, offices, break rooms, and restrooms
- Follows departmental standards for cleanliness and performance of duties
- Restocks supplies.
- Empties trash from designated areas throughout the warehouse
- Pulls merchandise slip sheets and loose cardboard from sales floor
- Operates garbage compactor and cardboard baler
- Checks daily schedule for assigned routine tasks and maintenance repair jobs
- Paints, replaces bulbs, maintains equipment, and performs routine repairs throughout the warehouse
- Assists with installing and repairing building displays and fixtures
- Purchases supplies and parts needed for projects
- Maintains grounds outside warehouse including blowing leaves, picking up litter and building maintenance
- Follows proper Maintenance and general safety and security procedures, wearing safety goggles when using compactor and baler and product disposal
- Responds quickly to and cleans up spills.
- Assists in other areas of the warehouse as necessary
- Provides prompt and courteous customer service to members, employees, and vendors.
Non-Essential Functions and Tasks:
- Assists with front end duties as necessary.
- Assists other areas in the department as necessary.
