Quality and Education Manager
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Quality & Education Manager (QEM) to join a well-established aged care service in Toowoomba. This is a permanent, full-time role offering the chance to step into a supportive environment with a strong, stable leadership team already in place.
Summary
As the Quality & Education Manager, you will lead the delivery of high-quality aged care, ensuring services meet regulatory and accreditation standards. You will coach, mentor, and develop staff, embed best‑practice care, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The role involves overseeing audits, compliance, and quality indicator reporting while collaborating closely with the General Manager and Clinical Manager. Strong clinical expertise and leadership skills are essential.

* Large Australian residential aged care provider with over 50 facilities nationwide.
* Strong focus on staff wellbeing and professional development, ensuring a balance of people and performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and mentor staff, providing quality-focused guidance and coaching.
* Ensure compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and implement best practice care.
* Oversee continuous improvement initiatives, audits, and quality indicator reporting.
* Develop team capability through education and training.
* Collaborate closely with the General Manager and Clinical Manager as part of a supportive leadership structure.
Requirements
* Bachelor of Nursing with current AHPRA registration (essential).
* Minimum 2–3 years' clinical leadership experience within aged care or a transferable healthcare setting.
* Strong interpersonal, coaching, and leadership skills.
* Sound knowledge of accreditation standards, compliance, and continuous improvement.
* Postgraduate qualifications in Aged Care or Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (desirable).
