In your role as
Hook Lift Driver
you will be responsible for the driving HR trucks and seamless delivery of waste material to our sites.
Permanent full time stable ongoing work available:
Day shift: 6am - 2pm
Responsibilities
Safely operate hook lift trucks to transport bins, skips, and waste containers between customer sites, depots, and disposal facilities
Complete daily pre-start checks and ensure the vehicle is maintained in safe working condition
Load and unload bins using hook lift mechanisms while following all safety procedures
Secure loads to prevent movement during transport
Communicate effectively with dispatch / operations regarding job progress, delays, or issues
Adhere to all road safety regulations, company policies, and site-specific rules
Operate the forklift (LF) when required inside the plant during downtime
Maintain accurate documentation including run sheets, delivery notes, and waste transfer records
Keep the truck and work area clean, tidy, and hazard-free
About you
Previous experience in driving HR trucks or equivalent
MUST have a valid forklift licence
MUST be able to hold a valid HR or HC driver's licence
MUST be safe on the road at all times
Knowledge in using delivery navigation software applications
A great "can do" attitude with customer service at the forefront of all interactions
