Assistant Store Managers
Farmer Jack’s Supermarkets are a WA based independent supermarket, currently with 11 stores both North and South of Perth and we are now expanding our offer, and we are looking for Enthusiastic Store Managers to join our team.
We’re famous for our great quality and great value, locally sourced in-season produce, as well as our range of hard-to-find gourmet and speciality food items.
What is required in this role is a passion and enthusiasm for Retail and merchandising, enthusiasm in managing and leading your team and delivering on agreed results.
This hands-on role will include:
- Leading and managing the store teams to deliver exceptional customer service and agreed results
- Receiving, replenishing and maintaining high standards of stock presentation in the store
- Juggling multiple things at once, motivating others and keeping calm under pressure.
- A customer and team focused approach.
- Overseeing store operations, opening and closing the store in the absence of the Store Manager
You will be responsible for:
- Ensuring security procedures are followed
- Learning every aspect of running a store
- Assisting store management in driving sales and achieving targets
- Help develop, guide and inspire your team Ensuring stock levels are adequate, exceptional store merchandising and department presentation is well maintained and motivate a capable team of store staff of the highest quality and standard
- Be friendly, outgoing, trustworthy and reliable
- Have valuable communication skills
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Providing the highest standards of customer service Be willing to "go that extra mile" for our customers
Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment is preferred as you’ll need to lead, coach and develop your team to meet sales targets, cost control and rostering requirements in absence of the Store Manager.
