About the Role:
Reporting to an APS5 Supervisor, the APS3 Program Support / Participant Support Officer will play a vital role in supporting service delivery to individuals with complex needs. The role involves managing enquiries, coordinating appointments, maintaining accurate records, and providing frontline reception support. The position requires strong communication, organisational ability, and attention to detail, as well as the capacity to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and operational support, including managing team mailboxes, telephone enquiries, and correspondence
- Deliver front of house support including reception duties, participant enquiries, and online self-service assistance
- Manage and resolve client matters by actioning tasks in line with relevant legislation and agency procedures
- Coordinate appointments and ensure facilities are accessible for all clients
- Perform accurate data entry, record management, and follow up activities
- Undertake basic research and prepare reports, documentation, and correspondence
- Record complaints and feedback in agency business systems
- Respond to enquiries, providing information and referring clients to appropriate services as required
- Support continuous improvement of administrative processes and procedures
- Other duties as required
Mandatory Requirements:
- You must be an Australian Citizen to be considered for this position
- Ability to obtain and maintain a national police clearance
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience in administration, customer service, or client facing roles
- Knowledge of federal government processes and record keeping requirements
- Qualifications in business administration or a related field
