Role Description
The Senior Accountant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Nambucca Heads, NSW. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and reviewing financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and regulations. Core tasks include tax preparation and strategy, financial reporting, process improvement, audits, and providing advisory support to clients. The Senior Accountant will also play a key role in mentoring junior team members and collaborating with other departments.
Qualifications
* Strong technical skills in financial reporting and tax compliance
* Ability to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights for business development
* Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor team members effectively
* Excellent organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple priorities
* CPA or CA qualification required
* Experience in accounting software including Xero and MYOB
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
* Familiarity with Australian tax regulations and compliance standards preferred
