Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Systems Analyst to join our team. As a key member of the ICT services infrastructure, you will be responsible for providing input that aims to ensure high availability and security of network services and systems.
Your daily tasks will involve ensuring the effective running and administration of systems within the ICT services infrastructure in conjunction with the broader IT Team, Communications Officer and Line Manager as appropriate to the role.
You will also be responsible for logging and managing IT networks and systems requests in accordance with local procedures.
Main Responsibilities:
* Perform day-to-day tasks to ensure the effective running and administration of systems.
* Ensure IT networks and systems requests are logged and managed in accordance with local procedures.
* Provide advice to Desktop Support staff, Radiation Oncology and IT collaborative partner positions as required in the networks and systems areas when needed.
* Restore services in the event of an outage and assist in resolving.
* Carry out daily checks regarding backups and network health as directed and routinely where required.
Requirements
The successful candidate will possess:
* Relevant tertiary and/or industry qualifications and experience.
* Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
* High-level knowledge and experience with ICT infrastructure including backup, hardware, databases, client devices, operating systems, directory services and high-availability.
* Experience with Microsoft Windows (Server and Desktop), Exchange, SQL and Identity Management in an enterprise environment.
* Experience in maintaining a LAN/WAN in a corporate setting.
* Experience in maintaining a highly available SAN and Hypervisor environment.
