Operations Manager – Southern Sunshine Coast

CSBS Group is growing and we're inviting applications from experienced Operations Managers who share our values, high standards, and commitment to person-led support.
We believe great support starts with great people. That's why we're growing our Sunshine Coast Team with purpose. We're searching for an Operations Manager who's ready to set the standard in disability services through values-driven, person-led support.

Responsibilities
Recruit and select support workers who align with participants' individual needs, goals, and preferences.
Lead, train, and coordinate teams to deliver personalised, high-quality, person-led support at home and in the community.
Build and maintain strong relationships with support coordinators, community groups, and health professionals to grow our local presence and attract new participants.
Conduct regular visits to participants' homes and community settings to oversee and support service delivery.
Participate in a rotating after-hours on-call schedule (approximately every six weeks) to ensure continuous support.
Act as a local ambassador for CSBS, promoting our values and presence on the Sunshine Coast through exceptional service delivery.
Qualifications
Expertise:
Demonstrated career progression in the disability support sector in management roles.
Innovation:
Ability to design supports and services alongside the person seeking support.
Strong leadership skills:
Ability to lead, mentor, and guide team members using a person-focused approach within a recovery-oriented framework.
Experience with support networks:
Prior experience working with support networks, nominees, and guardians to create holistic and integrated supports for individuals with disability.
Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) knowledge:
Experience implementing PBS plans.
NDIS knowledge:
Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, NDIS legislation, practice standards, and code of conduct.
Clearance checks:
Positive Notice Yellow Card or NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain one).
Driver's license:
Open Driver's License with comprehensive vehicle insurance.
First Aid and CPR:
Current First Aid and CPR certification.

You have a solid reputation in the sector. You are well connected and are a specialist at building trusted relationship-based on your commitment, communication and expertise.
You will need experience in a similar role, and have a knack for coaching, inspiring and mentoring others to deliver exceptional support in sometimes challenging environments.
Your leadership will be essential in creating a positive and inclusive environment for both participants and staff.
You'll coach and mentor your team to use positive behaviour support strategies and model respectful and safe behaviours.
You will have sound time-management, decision-making processes, be a great communicator and advanced skills to juggle a range of priorities in a dynamic workplace.
You are invested in professional development and enhancing your skills to successfully lead and model positive behaviours in a team setting.
You bring experience and confidence in supporting individuals with complex physical and/or behavioural needs, and understand the importance of person-centred, trauma-informed approaches.
