Position Details
Operating tractors and machinery in vineyards as well as fulfilling vineyard upkeep is a rewarding and challenging job, where you can put your skills to the test in a variety of conditions. The role will include the following responsibilities:
- Operate tractors with a range of implements in vineyards and paddocks.
- Complete labour works including fencing, vineyard trellis maintenance and all other vineyard related labour.
- Operate our Kubota Posi Track for a variety of tasks including vineyard installs and removals.
- Slashing and herbicide spraying.
Skills and Experience
- Experience driving tractors a bonus but not essential.
- Experience operating a skidsteer or posi track a bonus but not essential.
- Experience spraying and associated chemical tickets a bonus.
- MR or HR License is desirable, but we will cover costs for the right candidate to get their truck license if you don’t have it.
- Ability to work outdoors regularly including when it's raining and during winter.
- First aid training a bonus.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated to meet and exceed targets.
- Strong communication skills.
- A combination of initiative and the ability to ask questions when necessary.
