We are seeking highly skilled Regional TSS Engineers to provide technical guidance and support for minerals processing equipment across the APAC region.
About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to take responsibility for delivering technical solutions that enhance customer uptime and reduce spare parts usage. As a key member of our Technical Service Support (TSS) department, you will act as a 'technical bridge' between customers and internal teams, working closely with Engineering, Spare Parts, Sales, and other departments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide technical support to customers worldwide to resolve complaints and improve satisfaction.
2. Troubleshoot issues, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), coordinate field testing, and propose technical solutions.
3. Analyze production processes and monitor field data to identify areas for improvement.
4. Capture and analyze technical customer queries to provide solutions.
5. Build relationships with key and potential customers to meet their expectations.
6. Support sales teams in new business opportunities.
7. Monitor equipment performance through site visits and end-user engagement.
8. Participate in industry events and working groups to stay up-to-date on competitor activities.
9. Collaborate with sales, aftermarket, engineering, and technology teams to develop strategies for business growth and product improvement.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
* Minimum 5 years' experience with minerals processing equipment or equivalent.
* Able to interpret scientific journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
* Proficient in responding to inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or the business community.
* Ability to work in an office environment with regular site travel.
* Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP.
