Synergie is seeking a Caretaker at Anglevale and Aldinga. Join our client – a global facility services provider, working in partnership with schools and educational institutions to ensure clean, safe, and functional environments that support learning and growth. 3 Days per week for approximately 4 weeks (possible extension) commencing from 8th September 2025. Must have Working with Children Check to qualify. Pay Rate: $32.18 Key Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of buildings, grounds, and equipment Perform minor repairs, basic handyman tasks, and report any maintenance issues Open and secure the premises daily, including unlocking gates, turning on lights/heating, and activating security systems Maintain outdoor areas including sweeping paths, emptying bins, and basic gardening Monitor and report any safety hazards or security concerns Support contractors and maintenance staff on-site, as needed Ensure compliance with WHS standards and school policies Respond to reactive maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner Skills & Experience Previous experience in a caretaker, maintenance, or facilities support role Ability to use basic tools and perform general repairs Strong awareness of safety, security, and hygiene standards Good communication skills and the ability to work independently Physical fitness and ability to carry out manual tasks Working With Children Check (WWCC) – required Driver’s license- preferred What's on Offer As a leading provider of temporary workforce we value all our employees and offer a weekly payrun, a commitment to working with our clients for safe working environments and consultants that care.
