About the Role
As Workshop Manager, you will oversee daily workshop operations across our Brisbane BMW sites, ensuring vehicles are diagnosed, repaired, and serviced to the highest standard. You will lead technicians and apprentices, support the Service and Parts teams, and continually improve productivity, quality, and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor, and support technicians and apprentices to drive performance, quality, and safety.
* Oversee daily workshop operations, ensuring efficient workflow, bay utilisation, and timely completion of repairs.
* Maintain high standards of workmanship, technical accuracy, and compliance with warranty, WHS, and environmental requirements.
* Coordinate communication between Service Advisors, Parts, and workshop teams to ensure smooth service delivery and excellent customer experiences.
* Manage workshop facilities, equipment, tooling, stock levels, and maintenance across all workshop locations.
* Review workshop performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement strategies to lift productivity and quality
About You
* Qualified Automotive Technician (essential)
* Experience in a franchised dealership workshop
* Proven people leadership and workshop management experience
* Strong diagnostic and technical capability
* Excellent communication, organisation, and time‑management skills
* Results‑focused, proactive, and committed to high standards of service and safety
* Valid driver's licence
