Speech Pathologist — Speech Language & Learning is a Brisbane-based independent private speech pathology practice dedicated to empowering children, adolescents and adults to communicate with confidence and achieve their full potential. We provide comprehensive assessment and personalised therapy programs for a wide range of speech, language, voice, social communication, behaviour, literacy and learning difficulties, delivered in-clinic, in-school, and via tele-health to regional, remote and international clients.
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Speech Pathologist, based in Brisbane, QLD, with opportunities for some work-from-home flexibility. The Speech Pathologist will be responsible for providing speech therapy services, assessing and managing communication and language disorders, and working with clients experiencing challenges such as speech delays, dysphagia, and other communication-related difficulties. This role includes creating tailored therapy plans, collaborating with families and caregivers, documenting client progress, and participating in multi-disciplinary team meetings.
Qualifications
* Strong skills in Speech Therapy and assessment of speech-related conditions
* Expertise in addressing Dysphagia and other communication disorders
* Experience with Communication Disorders and Language Disorders in various age groups
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with clients, families, and colleagues
* Proficiency in developing and implementing individualized therapy plans
* Qualification in Speech Pathology and current certification or registration from an appropriate professional body
* Ability to work effectively within a hybrid model of in-person and remote service delivery
* Prior experience working in educational or therapy consultancy settings is an advantage
