Ready to make a splash in your career? WaterNSW is seeking an experienced Site Engineer - Rural Renewals (Full-Time, Permanent) to join our Rural Renewals Built Infrastructure team.

What You'll Do
* Support the development and implementation of technical and engineering solutions under the direction of senior project staff.
* Provide timely technical input, reporting, and recommendations to assist with risk mitigation, environmental management, and project goals.
* Contribute to the preparation of clear project specifications and documentation, facilitating effective engagement with consultants and contractors.
* Coordinate with suppliers and design teams to ensure alignment with project objectives, technical standards, and environmental assessments.
* Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with scope, specifications, and quality standards, and assist with commissioning, testing, and handover processes.
What We Are Looking For
* Bachelor's degree or higher tertiary institution in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or similar), or demonstrated equivalent relevant experience.
* Experience in executing and overseeing site activities for multidisciplinary infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards.
* Experience collaborating with stakeholders to assess, resolve, and implement technical solutions on-site.
* Ability to identify and address technical challenges by evaluating and supporting the implementation of appropriate solutions.
* Experience interpreting and applying technical specifications, reviewing engineering designs and drawings, regulatory requirements, and industry standards in construction and site operations.
* Knowledge of assets relevant to WaterNSW core asset base such as dams, water regulating structures, bridges, roads, canals, embankments, buildings and cranes etc.
* Current NSW Driver's Licence.
